About PC Tattletale
Way back in 2002 there were only a handful of parental control software products on the market. Most of these focused on Internet filtering and didn’t offer parents with the internet usage monitoring capabilities that are so important in the online environment that the children of today spend so much time in.
With the explosion of social media and bookmarking sites like FaceBook.com and MySpace.com, not to mention online video sites like YouTube.com, along with the rise of instant messaging, unmoderated chat rooms, and the explosion in Internet pornography, being online today is a much different experience for a child than it was just a few years ago.
Things are very different today. According to the FBI, the Internet is an absolute haven for online pedophiles, and Internet sexual predators. And with so many children it now spending more time online than they do watching television, many parents feel a loss of control over their childrens online activities.
What’s worse, teenagers will go to almost any lengths to keep in their online conversations, instant messages and chat sessions secret, foolishly believing that it’s none of their parents business what they do online or whom they talk to. Sadly, these children couldn’t be more wrong.
Born out of a need to help a personal friend monitor his teenage son, Parental Control Products, LLC launched its first Internet monitoring software; PC Tattletale in 2004.
The now award-winning PC tattletale parental control and Internet monitoring software has won numerous awards and received rave reviews throughout the industry and from parents and educators world wide.
