Refund Policy



If you have purchased pcTattletale (other than via our Free Trial Program) and it does not perform as advertised, please notify us within 72 hours of your purchase. Our customer support staff is available to resolve any issues that you may have. If you have notified us within 72 hours of purchase and our customer support staff is unable to resolve the issue within 3 days of you notifying us, a Full Refund will be issued.

*Please note that you must provide us with reasonable access to resolve your issue and we do not issue refunds for simply changing your mind.

Free Trial Customers:

The Free Trial program is intended to provide you with a no risk method to confirm pcTattletale works as advertised. Accordingly, if you have purchased pcTattletale via our Free Trial program, no refunds will be issued as you have already confirmed the functionality of the software by manually upgrading to a paid subscription inside your account. However, you can cancel your subscription by closing your account at ANY TIME to ensure your account does not incur any additional renewal charges.

Billing – NO REFUNDS:

By starting your pcTattletale subscription, you are expressly agreeing that we are authorized to charge you an annual subscription fee at the then published rate, and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service to the payment method you provided during signup. We will automatically bill your payment method each year (as applicable) on the anniversary of the commencement of you upgrading to a paid subscription. PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. YOU ARE FULLY LIABLE FOR ALL CHARGES TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT PCTATTLETALE IS NOT REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A REFUND FOR ANY REASON.

You may cancel your pcTattletale subscription at any time. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS FOR ANY PARTIAL YEAR SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS. PCTATTLETALE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FAILURE TO CANCEL YOUR SUBCRIPTION IF YOU DO NOT PROPERLY FOLLOW THE CANCELLATION PROCEDURES SET FORTH HERIEN.

For technical issues encountered either during your Free Trial or 72 hours in case of purchase, please contact our support team from support link within your account.

*While we make every effort to upgrade to be compatible with new operating systems, pcTattletale cannot guarantee compatibility with future operating systems.

How to submit a refund request:

From within your account use the support link. Tell us you want a refund with a short explanation. We will reply to your request within 24 hours.

Non-refundable scenarios:

  • Personal reasons like changing your mind or made purchase by mistake
  • Customer does not accept technical assistance
  • No access to target computer or mobile device
  • Customer wanted to use pcTattletale to monitor more devices than their license allowed
  • Target computer or mobile device does not have an Internet connection
  • Target computer or mobile device uses an unsupported operating system
  • No access to historical data prior to the pcTattletale installation date
  • Customer is unable to provide Apple ID & Password for the target iOS device
  • iCloud is or becomes disabled on the target iOS device at any time
  • Data is deleted on the target device before the next iCloud backup (iOS Only)
  • Website History cannot be captured by pcTattletale in Safari in Private Browsing mode is enabled (iOS Only)

*Third Party applications like McAfree, Norton, & iOS may publish updates such that pcTattletale may become inoperable for unexpected and undefined periods of time. pcTattletale cannot guarantee 100% up-time for this reason. Please know we will always try out best to fix the problem and get pcTattletale working again. Updated versions are always free of charge to you.

*Please note that the functionality of pcTattletale for iOS is dependent on the availability of data through Apple's iCloud backup service. Data displayed in your pcTattletale account reflects the data in the last available iCloud backup.

Subscription Renewals:

To avoid any gaps in coverage, your subscription will renew automatically until canceled (as per the terms and conditions previously accepted) using the payment info previously provided.

You can easily cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from with your account (follow steps below)

"Account Overview" -> "Close Account" -> "Confirm Close Account"

Once you close your account you will not be billed another penny. Your data will be permanently erased and you will not be able to sign back into your pcTattletale account.
